Vocational skills
Rebuilding Solukhumbu with local youth
After the 2015 earthquake, 30 young people in Lukla learned construction skills by repairing schools and building a new house.

School performance audits
For the Education Review Office, FEDUC has audited more than 1,800 schools, resource centres and district education offices — including 404 schools in one package covering Dolakha, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lamjung, Manang and Parbat.
Large-scale assessments
The endline assessment of the USAID-funded Early Grade Reading Program covered 291 schools in 20 districts with 138 trained assessors. We also ran the 2022 national ECD assessment in 31 districts.
Research and policy studies
From the impact of COVID-19 on early-grade learning to local curriculum in Karnali, continuous student assessment, the Chhaupadi system and textbook distribution.
Vocational training
Construction, carpentry, plumbing, house and industrial wiring, and wood-carving courses in Solukhumbu and Rasuwa, much of it rebuilding after the 2015 earthquake.
Curriculum and frameworks
A continuous student assessment framework for the Curriculum Development Centre and a revised Level 2 plumbing curriculum for the Vocational and Skill Development Training Centre.
Community support
Daily snacks for 150 students, support to children’s homes, relief for earthquake-hit schools, COVID-19 food support and flood relief.
